The BeHear NOW headset comes with four shapes of silicone ear buds (conical, mushroom, open fit/tulip, and open ear), each in various sizes. There are also three sets of ear hooks in varying sizes.
The conical shape is the best choice for most people. The mushroom style suits those who want a tighter seal against ambient noise while listening to music, or during a phone call. The open fit and open ear styles are best for those who, for any reason, cannot tolerate having a foreign object inside their ear, and are willing to sacrifice some sound quality in the lower frequencies.
The most common type and size of buds and hooks have already been attached to the headset. However, if the default ear buds and hooks do not fit “snugly yet comfortably” in your ear, you should remove the default sizes and try different options from the alternatives provided.
