Hear the person in front of you
Two built-in microphones work together. In Omni mode SMARTO picks up sound from all around, ideal for following the whole table. In Front mode it amplifies only what is in front of the unit, so you can point it at the person you want to hear.
One press of the Sound Focus button switches between the two modes.
Less noise, more words
Noise reduction and speech clarification bring voices forward and keep background noise down, in a café, at a family dinner or on the street.
With the BeHear app you can set how strongly background noise is reduced, and use Best Sound Point to find the clearest sound for the place you are in.
Slow down fast talkers
EasyListen slows down the speech of the person you are talking to on a mobile phone call, in real time and without distortion, so every word comes through.
Choose Slow, Slower or Slowest in the BeHear app during the call, or set EasyListen to turn on automatically.
Sound tuned to your ears
A short hearing assessment in the BeHear app measures your hearing at six frequencies for each ear. SMARTO then amplifies each frequency as much as you need: conversation is not just louder, it is clearer.
Already have an audiogram from a hearing test? Enter its values in the app instead. Your profile is stored in SMARTO itself and also personalizes music and phone calls.
TV, music and calls in your ears
SMARTO connects over Bluetooth to your phone, TV, computer or tablet. aptX Low Latency keeps voices in step with the picture on screen, and the TV volume stays comfortable for everyone else in the room.
Answer and end calls with the big green and red buttons, hands-free.
Designed for peace of mind
Press and hold the green button to call a number you choose, for example a family member. A button lock prevents accidental presses, which helps people with limited dexterity and their caregivers.
